About Sabrina Young, DO

Sabrina Young, DO is the Associate Medical Director of Norman Regional’s Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center. She treats people who have experienced a loss of function and help them regain the skills needed to return to their day-to-day lives.

“I like to see the improvements that can develop on a daily basis,” Dr. Young said. “Also, after an acute illness or injury, oftentimes arriving to rehab is the first time patients and their families have a chance to take a deep breath, regroup and really consider what life will be like now. I appreciate the opportunity to be a partner to them during this time, and help them navigate the road ahead.”

Dr. Young received her medical degree from University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She then completed her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Young was Internal Medicine Intern of the Year and received Outstanding Resident, Humanism in Medicine Award.

Dr. Young is a native Texan who is married and has two children and three sweet, senior dogs. She and her entire family are Texas A&M Aggies, so college football season is one of her favorite times of the year.
