About Satish Arora, MD

Satish Arora, MD, FACG, received his medical degree from Maharishi Dayanand University Medical College and Hospital in Rohtak, India. He did his internal medicine residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following his residency, he completed a two-year fellowship in hypertension at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and a three-year fellowship in gastroenterology at the Mount Sinai/Bronx VA Medical Center in New York.

He specializes in:

  • Acid reflux disease
  • Capsule endoscopy
  • Colonoscopy and colon cancer screening
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • Gallbladder and liver disease
  • Hepatitis B and C
  • Inflammatory bowel disease
  • Pancreatic and stomach cancer
  • Small bowel capsule endoscopy
  • Upper endoscopy (EGD)

Besides taking care of stomach ulcers and colon cancer, Dr. Arora has experience in the management and care of ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease patients. He also treats patients with liver and gallbladder diseases.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His memberships include the American Medical Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.

Dr. Arora is an active member of the medical staff at Norman Regional Hospital, West Norman Endoscopy Center and Medical Plaza Endoscopy Unit.
