Our clinic offers:

  • Interventional pulmonology including stents, APC, ablations and fiducial marker placement
  • Cardiopulmonary exercise testing or CPET
  • Endobronchial ultrasound biopsy or EBUS and GPS-guided biopsy
  • Two pulmonary function testing rooms
  • Lung nodule program

Our team evaluates and treats:

  • Asthma
  • Lung nodules
  • Lung cancer
  • Infections
  • Emphysema

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing or CPET

Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is an important way your physician can evaluate your exercise capacity or readiness for surgery. It is a non-invasive procedure where a patient uses a treadmill while monitored by a health professional.

Pulmonary Function Testing

Our clinics offer two dedicated rooms with Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) booths.

Lung Scans

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Norman Regional offers a low-dose computed tomography (CT) scan, which noninvasively and painlessly screens for lung cancer. One of our highly trained radiologists will review the images, and our specialized nurse navigator will notify you of any abnormal findings or simply send you a letter if the findings are normal. This screening provides a point of reference for tests you may need throughout your life. We recommend you share all results and findings with your primary care physician.

Schedule a lung scan if you have any of these risk factors:

  • Are 55 to 74 years old
  • Have smoked more than a pack of cigarettes a day for 30 years
  • Currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years
  • Have been exposed to secondhand smoke for an extended period of time
  • Previously had or currently have a job with exposure to radon, asbestos or diesel exhaust

Lung scans are offered at Norman Regional HealthPlex, located at 3300 HealthPlex Parkway in Norman, and at Norman Regional Moore, located at 700 S. Telephone Rd. in Moore. The scan takes less than 10 minutes and costs only $100. You can also add on a heart scan at no additional cost. No referral is needed.
