Forty-five Oklahomans have died of the flu since Sept. 1, 2017, according to OK FluView.
Thousands of Oklahomans have also been hospitalized with the flu.
Due to the severity of this year's flu season and the protection of our patients, we ask that if you are a visitor with flu-like symptoms to please postpone your visit until you recover from your symptoms. This goes for Norman Regional Hospital and Norman Regional Hospital.
We also ask that patients with flu-like symptoms report them as you check in to any of our locations.
Flu-like symptoms could include fever, cough, chills, body aches or nausea.
If you cannot avoid coming into the hospital, masks are available for you to wear.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep our patients safe!
