Liz Love, a Healer for three years, has been named Norman Regional Health System’s 2024 Healer of the Year.
Norman Regional’s Healer of the Year ceremony took place at Norman Regional’s NMotion Sports & Human Performance location inside the Young Family Athletic Center on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Chief Operating Officer John Manfredo and Chief People Officer Keith Minnis hosted the event, thanking the Healer of the Month honorees in attendance for their dedication and hard work.
The ceremony began with honoring each of the 12 Healers of the Month from July 2023 to June 2024 and presenting them with a gift.
Once Manfredo and Minnis presented each Healer of the Month, it was time to announce the Healer of the Year. Every year’s Healers of the Month from the previous fiscal year decide on the next year’s Healers of the Month and Healer and the Year. After a decision made by her Norman Regional peers, it was announced that Liz Love was the Healer of the Year for Fiscal Year 2024!
Love has been a healer since June 2021, bringing her vibrant personality and dedication to her roles in Registration and supporting the Same Day Surgery unit.
In just over three years, Love has made significant contributions, particularly in the Emergency Room registration process, ensuring efficiency and compassion are at the forefront of patient care. Her background, serving over five years at a tax law firm, has given her a robust skillset in preparing essential documents, leading projects with an international scope and honing her customer service expertise.
A proud alumna of Purcell High School, Love furthered her academic pursuits at City College in Moore. There, she excelled in Business Accounting, graduating with a 4.0 GPA and earning certifications in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Love’s roots were planted in Oklahoma, with her journey beginning in Enid and moving through the towns of Aline, Cleo Springs and Fairview, before she settled in Purcell in August 1995. Outside of work, you can find her reading, traveling and savoring precious moments with her family.
What Love enjoys most about being a healer is the kindness she feels across all levels of the organization and the unwavering support from her supervisors, managers and directors.
