For 47 years, Dr. McCurdy has been, and will continue to be, an integral part of Norman Regional, showcasing unwavering dedication and expertise in surgical care right here in Norman, Oklahoma.

In 1977, Dr. McCurdy walked through the doors of the Porter Campus, ready to embark on a journey that would span nearly five decades. He began his career with a commitment to excellence and a deep desire to serve the community. His first surgical case marked the beginning of what would become a legendary tenure at Norman Regional.

Dr. McCurdy is a board-certified general surgeon who received his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he honed his skills and prepared for a career filled with notable achievements.
