Norman Regional Hospital welcomed its first baby of the New Year into the world at 8:30 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
Joseph and Elizabeth Fellin are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy, David. He was born seven pounds and two ounces.
Norman Regional’s volunteer organization, the Auxiliary, gave the family a gift basket with diapers, a stuffed animal and a memory book to celebrate his birthday!
Elizabeth’s due date was Monday, Dec. 30 but David waited until 2025 to make his entrance.
“It’s a pretty cool birthday and it’s easy to remember,” said Joseph.
The family lives in Norman, and said David is already a world-traveler as they found out Elizabeth was pregnant while in Germany. They said the team at Norman Regional was “super nice.”
Dr. Diane Chambers of Women’s Healthcare of Norman delivered David. The clinic joined the Norman Regional team of physician clinics this January.
