About
Awaad Khan, MD, is an internal medicine hospitalist physician with a passion for healing. A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Khan followed up his schooling with a residency at the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Khan says he went into internal medicine because it provides a unique opportunity to manage and treat a variety of diseases and disorders. Providing for hospitalized patients gives him a deeper understanding of complex medical cases, which continually enhances his medical knowledge.

Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Khan enjoys embarking on new and exciting adventures. He often ventures out on bike rides, appreciates quality time with family and friends, delights in exploring new coffee shops to savor a cup of chai tea and has recently picked up the sport of pickleball.
