Kristin Thorp, MD, is a board certified hematologist and oncologist who was born and raised in Oklahoma.

Dr. Thorp is committed to the community and wishes to continue serving and growing oncology services at Norman Regional. She believes strongly in communication with an emphasis on listening to her patients because it is the foundation of compassionate care, which is her primary focus.
"I try my best to be the hub of communications for the patient's team of doctors and to facilitate multidisciplinary decisions. I want to provide the best care possible, and that can be done right here in Norman," Dr. Thorp said. "We want to be their home base for their cancer journey."
Dr. Thorp hopes all her patients walk away with a better sense of knowledge and calm knowing Norman Regional Oncology is making a plan to best help them with their disease process.
