Brad Foster, BS, PharmD

Brad Foster, BS, PharmD, received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Pacific in 1997 after completing a Bachelors of Science degree in 1994 from the Masters College in southern California. Dr. Foster then went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) at Emory University in 1998. Following his training at CHOA he practiced in the area of pediatric critical care before taking the position of General Pediatric Lead Pharmacist. Later he accepted a Cardiac Critical Care Clinical Specialist position in which he practiced for approximately 6 years. In 2003, he accepted a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position at Norman Regional Health System. He was later promoted to Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor in 2009, to Clinical Pharmacy Manager in 2011 and in 2016 he accepted the position of Director of Pharmacy Services. He is also graduate from the Pharmacy Leadership Institute at Boston University. In his spare time he enjoys weight lifting, soccer, water sports, reading and spending time with his family.

Jenny Stemm, PharmD, BCPS

Jenny Stemm, PharmD, BCPS

Jenny Stemm, PharmD, BCPS, received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2011. Dr. Stemm went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System. Afterwards, she obtained the position of Director of Pharmacy at Midwest City Specialty Hospital where she served for over 2 years, while remaining at Norman Regional in an as needed capacity. In 2015, she returned to Norman Regional in a full-time capacity and accepted a position as Pharmacy Manager in 2016. Her practice interests include adult medicine and infectious diseases. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, reading and exercising.

Carly Holmes, PharmD

Carly Holmes, PharmD

Carly Holmes, PharmD, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. During college, Dr. Holmes worked as a pharmacy technician and pharmacy intern at a community pharmacy. She has been employed with Norman Regional since graduation and is currently a pharmacy supervisor. Within this role, her primary areas of focus are ensuring compliance with the new USP 797 standard, hazardous drug training and education, and narcotic surveillance. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading and hanging out with family.

Christopher Brown, PharmD, BCPS

Christopher Brown, PharmD, BCPS, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy with special distinction and the leadership track degree option with a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2015. Dr. Brown completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System in 2016. Immediately following his residency, he began working a hybrid position at Norman Regional working in both distributive and clinical capacities and began teaching advanced nursing pharmacology. Within four months of hybrid work, Dr. Brown transitioned to a full time internal medicine position as a clinical pharmacy specialist. After almost two years of internal medicine he shifted his focus to cardiology in 2018. Since that time, he has co-precepted the cardiology learning experience with Dr. Chonlahan. Dr. Brown is also the primary preceptor for the transitions of care learning experience. In 2020, Dr. Brown took over as residency program director at Norman Regional. He is chair for the Oklahoma Residency Research Conference and teaches essential research skills to the Norman Regional pharmacy residents each year during the clinical orientation period. Besides his interests in cardiology and research, he enjoys emergency medicine and critical care. He enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, rock climbing and playing pickleball whenever he can, and listening to audiobooks.

Brian Hughes, BS, PharmD, BCPS, BCID.

Brian Hughes, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP

Brian Hughes, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP, received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. Dr. Hughes then went on to complete a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Norman Regional Hospital in 2004 followed by a Pediatric Specialty Residency at Denver Children’s Hospital in 2005. Upon completion of training, he served as Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy, with a practice site at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hughes joined the staff of Norman Regional Health System as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in 2008, and became the Residency Program Director later that year. In 2016, he transitioned into the role of Clinical Programs Coordinator, then transitioned once again into the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor role in 2018. Aside from pediatrics, his practice interests include infectious diseases and pharmacy education. In his down time, he enjoys music, sports, movies, reading and spending time with family.

Justin Booth, BS, PharmD, BCPS

Justin Booth, BS, PharmD, BCPS, earned his B.S. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2009 and his Pharm D. from Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy in 2013. Dr. Booth went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System in 2014. He has been a clinical pharmacy specialist at Norman Regional since. His current areas of interest include emergency medicine, critical care and infectious diseases. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, gardening, watching movies and listening music.

Jennifer Chonlahan, PharmD, BCPS

Jennifer Chonlahan, PharmD, BCPS, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2002. After graduation, Dr. Chonlahan completed a Specialty Residency in Ambulatory Care at the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Dr. Chonlahan joined Norman Regional Health System in 2010. Cardiology is one of her current practice interests. In her free moments, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Alex Ehrhart, PharmD, BCPS

Alex Ehrhart, PharmD, BCPS, received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2018. Upon completion of her degree, Dr. Ehrhart moved back to her hometown of Norman, OK to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System. She has remained on staff at Norman Regional as a clinical pharmacy specialist and has helped integrate pharmacy services into the emergency department. Her professional interest areas include emergency medicine, adult medicine and pediatrics. When not at work, she enjoys weight training, reading, and spending time with her husband and sons.

Lauren May, PharmD, BCPS

Lauren May, PharmD, BCPS, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2016. In 2017, Dr. May went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System. After residency, she continued her employment with Norman Regional as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Her practice interests include oncology, infectious disease and adult medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her dachshunds, Lily and Luna, and going to yoga.

Betsy Nelson, PharmD, BCPS

Betsy Nelson, PharmD, BCPS, earned her B.S. in Pharmacology from Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University in 1975 and went on to earn her PharmD from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2002. Dr. Nelson began her career as a dispensing pharmacist at Norman Regional Health System in March 1976 and then became a clinical pharmacist at Norman Regional in 2003 upon her graduation from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Her practice interests include adult medicine with particular interests in diabetes and patient education. Her hobbies include reading and learning Spanish.

Andrea Rai, PharmD, BCPS

Andrea Rai, PharmD, BCPS, earned a B.S. in Zoology – Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 and graduated with distinction with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2015. Dr. Rai went on to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Integris Southwest Medical Center in 2016. She has been employed at Norman Regional Health System since 2016 and is currently training to become a clinical pharmacy specialist. She currently serves as the preceptor for the NRHS PGY-1 pharmacy residency teaching certificate program. Dr. Rai is active with the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP) and currently serves on the Programming Committee as the Vendor Showcase Chair. Her practice interests include adult medicine and transitions of care. She is a licensed preceptor with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy and the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. She has been a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2017. In her free time, she enjoys going to OU football games with her husband, playing with her 2 little girls and their dog Max, traveling, and crocheting.

Veronica Scafe, PharmD

Veronica Scafe, PharmD, graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2014. Dr. Scafe went on to work as a retail pharmacist for 5 years before coming to Norman Regional Health System in 2019. Veronica is part of the distribution team mainly focusing on medication preparation/verification and sterile compounding. In her spare time she enjoys exploring national parks, working out, and flying cross-country with her husband in their vintage airplanes.

Jaclyn Smith, PharmD, BCPS

Jaclyn Coffey, PharmD, BCPS, received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 2017. Dr. Coffey then moved to Oklahoma to complete a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Norman Regional Health System. Upon completion of her residency, she joined the Norman Regional team to work as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist throughout the health system. Her interests include oncology and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and running with her dog, Paisley.

Kimberly Whitley, BS, PharmD, BCPS

Kim Whitley, BS, PharmD, BCPS, earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2009, and earned her Pharm D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2013. Dr. Whitley went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Norman Regional Health System in 2014. She has been a pharmacist at Norman Regional since 2013 and currently practices in a decentralized pharmacy on the medical and surgical units. Kim is active with the Oklahoma Society of Health-System Pharmacists (OSHP), serving on the Programing Committee as the Vendor Showcase Chair since 2015. Her current areas of interest include infectious diseases, internal medicine and nutrition. Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, trying local restaurants and breweries, exploring state and national parks, and cheering on the OSU Cowboys and OKC Thunder.
