About Alexander Mach, DO
Alexander Mach, DO, is joining Norman Regional Pediatrics South OKC as a board-certified pediatrician. Dr. Mach attended medical school at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. Followed by his residency at the Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma’s (OMECO) Teaching Health Center Pediatric Residency Program.
“I decided to become a pediatrician because I love working with children and want to help improve their health and happiness. Seeing how resilient and joyful kids can be, even when they're sick, inspires me every day. I am passionate about making a positive difference during their early years, ensuring they have the best chance to grow up healthy and strong. Pediatrics lets me combine my love for medicine with the rewarding job of caring for and supporting young patients and their families,” said Mach.
Dr. Mach was born to a family of Chinese/Vietnamese immigrants who fled to the US after the Vietnam War. He and his wife grew up in Oklahoma City, where they currently reside with their two dogs, Sakari and Tully.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling to new places, exploring diverse cultures and trying different cuisines. Dr. Mach prioritizes staying active through weightlifting and has recently discovered a love for pickle ball.
