About Brian Taylor, MD
Brian Taylor, MD is a board certified family medicine physician with a focus in nocturnal hospital medicine. Dr. Taylor graduated from Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) in Portsmouth, Dominica and went on to complete his family medicine residency with HCA Midwest Health Research Medical Center in Kanas City, Missouri.
Dr. Taylor also obtained a graduate diploma in international medicine and public health from the Institute for International Medicine, located in Kansas City. He has also been awarded several awards, including the RUSM Community Health Leadership Award and the RUSM Dean’s Academic Merit.
Dr. Taylor says he chose family medicine for its breadth of practice, continuity of care and the ability to develop long-term relationships with patients. His experience with inpatient care and interest in acute illness management led him to pursue a Nocturnist role after residency.

Besides caring for our inpatient population over night, Dr. Taylor enjoys embarking on adventures in life, whether it be traveling abroad to experience new cultures and cuisines, or attending concerts and sporting events.
