About Mandi Brown, APRN,CNP

Mandi Brown, APRN, CNP, was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She chose to become a healthcare provider because she wanted to help others.

“I was drawn to nursing and wanted to further my career to become a nurse practitioner,” Brown said. “I enjoy meeting new patients and families. It is rewarding to see people improve their health and feel better.”

Brown’s hope in joining Norman Regional is that she and the health system can provide a team approach to meeting patients’ healthcare needs and goals.

One piece of advice Brown always gives her patients is to make time in their busy lives to do something they enjoy. In the end, it helps them meet their needs and others’ needs better.

Aside from medicine, Brown enjoys reading the Harry Potter series and watching movies, she usually always sees the new Marvel movies when they are released. She loves Christmas time, Mexican food and going to the ocean with her husband and twin girls.

She is accepting new patients and strives to offer same-day or next-day appointments. To make an appointment, call 405-912-3980.

Mandi is a very caring health provider. I haven't seen a doctor in a very long time and she Didn't look down on me for that and listened to what I had to say.

The parking lot is way too small and the construction around there is very disruptive. The location in OKC on Western was much better for location, parking and access.

I wish office staff was better. Apparently some of my lab work from the previous week did not get tested because of a problem with equipment. The staff told the Dr. they called me to come in to redraw blood but that is untrue. They never called, texted, or emailed. I mentioned to Dr. that communication with her office is always an issue and she agreed. I still have not received results of those retaken blood tests.

The location of this office is the only negative. It would be much more convenient for me if it was located on the corner of SW 119 and S. May. The construction was also a nuscience.
