Stephanie Porter, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Norman Regional’s Endocrine Para/Thyroid Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Her special interests include:

• Diabetes management
• Dietary guidance
• Weight loss
• Continuous glucose monitoring- Dexcom and Libre
• Insulin pump management

Before joining Endocrine Para/Thyroid Center, Stephanie worked with dialysis patients. Diabetes is the most common cause of kidney failure and the need for dialysis. As a result of that experience, she is passionate about helping patients meet their glucose goals, to help preserve the life of their kidneys and protect them from the other complications of diabetes.

Stephanie said she values a team approach, believes in utilizing lifestyle modifications and medication, and desires to help everyone achieve the highest quality of life possible.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at church, and traveling as much as possible.
