  • Neonatal transport
  • Kangaroo Care, is a technique in which an infant is held skin-to-skin with its parent with a blanket over the baby's back to keep warm.

The Flu

Influenza (the flu) is a virus that infects the respiratory system. Flu symptoms appear anywhere from one to four days a person has been exposed to the virus, meaning you could spread the virus before even knowing you’re sick.

Millions of children get sick with the flu each year and thousands are hospitalized, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That’s why our office does everything we can to help prevent the flu and ensure children get their flu vaccine. We host a flu clinic in our office every year for our patients, and we also help with Norman Regional Health System’s and Norman Regional Health Foundation’s free flu clinic each October at Norman Regional Moore called “Say Boo to the Flu.”
